Well we did have three days of lovely Spring weather, hats were donned and sun cream applied, but unfortunately it was short lived and we were back to cold rainy days again. This did not stop us enjoying the outdoors however, the babies had picnics and the older children have been exploring the woods as the season makes changes to the environment. Hopefully the sun will be back this weekend to top up our depleted vitamin D levels.
Welcoming New Staff
We are very lucky to have found four more qualified members of staff who come to us with excellent references and several years of experience in similar settings to Footprints.
Sandra Blackmore joined us at the beginning of April and comes with impressive references and lots of experience. She has been a welcome addition to the Tiggywinkles team.
April Wort has been covering with us as agency staff for several months and I am pleased to say that she has now agreed to join us as a permanent member of staff. As as she has spent lots of time with us already, the children and staff already know and like her. She has joined the Puddleducks team.
Lastly in the middle of May, we will be joined by Nicola Forman and Holly Morgan who again have a wealth of experience. Nicloa will join Nutkins as joint room leader with Jo Helcoop and Holly will join the Tiggywinkles team and will cover for days off in Flopsy Bunnies.
