At Footprints, we are aware that security is an issue that every parent wants addressed when it comes to the safety of their children. At the moment, the Nursery is in the middle of a building site after our landlord sold the farm. This has given us many challenges; however, we have been working with the contractors to ensure the health and safety of our children. The children, however, have had lots of fun watching and talking about the big machines.
During COVID, parents were not able to bring their children into the nursery, and we found that this helped the children to settle much more easily; therefore, we have retained the practice and parents continue to drop off and collect their children at the door.
CCTV monitors cover all external areas of the nursery and are recorded on a daily basis.
